QuicKard is designed to prioritize user privacy. All barcode data, images, and card information you enter are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData.

iCloud Sync (Pro Users): If you are a Pro user and have iCloud enabled, your data is synchronized across your devices via Apple’s CloudKit. We do not have access to this data; it is stored securely in your private iCloud database managed by Apple.

2. Location Data

QuicKard uses location services to provide "Location Alerts." This data is processed strictly on your device to trigger notifications when you arrive at a specific location. We do not collect, store, or share your real-time location on any external servers.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to improve the app experience and support development:

Google Analytics (Firebase): We collect anonymous usage data (e.g., which features are used most frequently, app crashes) to improve performance. This data does not identify you personally.
Google AdMob (Free Version): We display advertisements in the free version of the app. AdMob may use device identifiers to serve personalized ads.
Apple CloudKit: Used for data synchronization for Pro users.

4. GDPR Compliance (For European Users)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users in the European Economic Area (EEA) have the following rights:

Right to Access/Delete: You can view or delete all your card data directly within the app at any time.
Data Portability: Your data is stored within your private iCloud/Local storage, ensuring you maintain full control.
Consent: By using the app, you consent to the processing of data as described in this policy.

5. Data Retention

We do not host your data on our own servers. Your data remains on your device or in your personal iCloud account until you choose to delete the app or the data within it.
